How You Can Help
Whether supported through volunteering, sponsorship of events, an outright gift or a planned gift, all Foundation programs are made possible through the generosity and commitment of people like you.
Volunteering:
The Foundation always needs people like you to volunteer with your talents, ideas and elbow grease for development and implementation of activities and events that will help us meet our goals.
Right now, we are in particular looking for volunteers interested in
research or scrapbooking needs. You can contact us at any time by email or telephone to volunteer your time and talents and become one of Jackson 's Volunteers.
Sponsoring:
Sponsorship of specific events is also always needed. If you or your company would like to sponsor an upcoming event, please contact us by email or telephone. We will be happy to visit with you about sponsorship opportunities and recognition. Our sponsors are at the very heart of the Foundation's activities.
Giving:
An outright gift to the Foundation of money or its equivalent also supports the day-to-day activities and operations of the Foundation, as well as helping the Foundation meet its financial objectives. Such gifts are tax deductible, and you will be recognized as one of Jackson 's Angels. The Foundation also provides a secure, online donation option, and we are planning to provide an automatic draft option for a bank account in the future. You can also, of course, donate by mail to the Foundation address or directly to the Bank of Fayetteville at the Foundation's account using the following information:

A sustaining gift, or pledge, to the Foundation helps budgeting and planning for the Foundation, and may also further your financial planning goals. A sustaining gift is a gift of a certain amount to be paid each month, each quarter or on some other scheduled, periodic basis that you decide. The Foundation can invoice you, and we also hope to be able to provide an automatic draft option from a bank account in the near future. If you are interested in making a sustaining gift, please contact us by email or telephone.
Finally, a planned gift to the Foundation helps planning for the future of the services and programs we provide and ensures the long-term viability of the Foundation and its mission, and may also further your financial goals. Planned gifts include gifts through your will, charitable gift annuities, gifts of life insurance, pooled income funds, and charitable trusts, as described in more detail below. If you are interested in making a planned gift, please contact us by email or telephone.
Bequest:
Supporters may make charitable gifts by naming the Foundation as a beneficiary in their wills.
Life Income Gift:
You may irrevocably transfer some assets to the Foundation now, and in return, you (and a survivor, if you wish) receive income for life.
Gift of Life Insurance:
Supporters who no longer need their life insurance that was purchased years ago to provide for children or other family members may donate the policy to the Foundation.
Pooled Income Fund:
Your gift of money, marketable securities, or both is invested together with similar gifts from other supporters.
Charitable Lead Trust:
Individuals with very large estates can use a charitable lead trust to benefit the Foundation and pass principal to family members with little or no tax penalty.
Gifts of Retirement Plans:
Your IRA assets will be transferred to a charitable remainder trust, the trust will provide life income to the beneficiary, and then an eventual gift to the Foundation.
