"RED, WHITE, AND BABY BLUE" -- June 27, 2008

We are so pleased to announce the success of the 4rd Annual "Red, White, and Baby Blue" event which took place on Friday, June 27, from 6:30-9:00 PM, at the Waterford Estates Clubhouse.  The event raised in excess of $15,000, bringing the Foundation's total fundraising to over $130,000 in the 3 years of its existence!

During the event, we provided an update to a crowd of about 75 supporters on the activities and efforts sponsored by the Foundation in the past year, as well as an outline of future plans.

We also provided food, beverages, and live music. We had newly re-designed Foundation merchandise available, as well as both live and silent auctions.  The live auction included a Darren McFadden autographed Oakland Raiders jersey, a wine tasting for 10 people, and trip packages to San Diego, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.  The silent auction included such items as a chocolate basket from Nestle, a John McDonnell signed track spike, a Razorback baseball lover's package, personal training sessions, and a hair care package from Razor's Salon. 

Money raised at this event will continue to support our initiatives at Arkansas Children's Hospital, and we are also looking at other funding opportunities at hospitals in the Northwest Arkansas area.  In only 3 years since its founding, the Foundation has donated over $40,000 in goods and services for infant and toddler care and family support at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
